e8-UN DESA Workshops on CDM and Electricity Project Development
The workshops took place in Managua (Nicaragua) on September 23-24, 2004 and in Guayaquil (Ecuador) on September 28-29, 2004. A total of 101 participants attended the events.

The workshop took place in Milan (Italy) on December 9, 2003 in conjunction with COP9.
The e7 Renewable Energy Technology Diffusion Final Report assesses factors to facilitate technology diffusion for sustainable energy development. The report was produced by a team of experts from e7 companies in research and development, public policy, marketing, project management, and engineering.

The e8, comprising ten leading electricity companies from the G8 countries, was formed in 1992 following the Rio Summit to examine and co-operate on major global electricity-related issues, with an emphasis on the global environment and sustainable energy development.
